This diverse, historic city really has it all - European-influenced architecture, a beautiful waterfront, unique shopping and amazing food. With its great art scene, diehard sports fans, and close proximity to the lake for outdoor enthusiasts, we ran out of time to enjoy it all!

As you wind your way north on M-22, you catch glimpses of blue water dancing through sun-dappled trees. This peninsula feels isolated as it's surrounded by water and filled with lakes. But it is dotted with charming towns, barns, and rolling fields making it a perfect destination to explore.

Spending one week on magical Mt. Desert Island was wonderful. We were surrounded by soaring pine and spruce, rocky coastline that exposed tide pools when the tide receded, bald eagles that we sighted daily, and the stunning deep blue of the Atlantic that was mesmerizing to watch when the sun would dance off the water or the lobster boats would check their traps.

The historic city of Savannah, Georgia really does have it all - beautiful architecture, wonderful gardens and quaint squares, fantastic shopping and so many great dining choices. With its great art scene, the beach close by and the Riverfront, we ran out of time to explore it all. I guess we'll just have to come back!

Malibu has a vibrant art scene, a plethora of parks, and hiking trails in the Santa Monica Mountains as well as miles of gorgeous beaches with a laid-back surf culture. Malibu isn't just filled with exclusive homes and upscale restaurants. It is a laid-back, quiet town surrounded by idyllic natural beauty along the Pacific Ocean. There is certainly more to experience in Malibu!

The days are warm and the nights are cool as Spring comes to Phoenix. This city in the desert was unexpectedly delightful with its foodie scene and abundance of vintage stores, well-thought out parks, and easily accessible hiking trails. Phoenix makes for a wonderful destination for far more than its warmer spring weather!

Buffalo, like many Midwestern towns, is overlooked and underrated. Yet this New York town has restored and revitalized itself and has so much to offer. Located along the eastern shore of Lake Erie, Buffalo has a great mix of historic architecture and waterfront fun.

Cedarburg is a quaint, historic town on the banks of Cedar Creek and makes the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Filled with shopping, wineries, historic sights and restaurants, it made for a fun girl’s weekend.

We have a gem in the state of Michigan - a special place that is quaint and diverse, exciting and peaceful all in one place. I’m talking about the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore along Lake Michigan.

Nothing else says summer and brings to mind iconic images more than saying you’re heading down the Shore. From Sandy Hook in the north to Cape May at the southern end, you will find 130 miles of beautiful coastline and 11 lighthouses on your trip to the Jersey Shore.

There is a lake that lies not far from Minneapolis that is well-loved by Minnesotans and visitors alike. Lake Minnetonka, or “great water” from it’s Dakota Sioux name, is the perfect place to spend your days soaking up the sun and enjoying the best of summer.
