Sign Your Digital Art Like a Pro

Ever wished you could “sign” your digital artwork the way painters sign their canvases? Good news—now you can! Adobe’s Content Authenticity lets you apply Content Credentials to your digital files, adding an extra layer of transparency and security to your work. It is currently in beta testing and you can sign up on their website to get on their waitlist - I just got invited and tested it out.

This is a game-changer for digital artists, designers, and photographers who want to prove their authorship, protect their work, and build trust with their audience. Think of it as a digital signature that follows your art wherever it goes. You can add verified details to your artwork before sharing it online—helping prove authorship, build trust, and protect your creative work. And the best part? Your Content Credentials stay connected no matter where your files go.

How to Apply Content Credentials to Your Work

It’s easy to get started:

Set Up Your Credentials

  • Under Preferences, connect the social media accounts you want linked to your Content Credentials.
  • Soon, you’ll also be able to enter your name for even more personalization.
  • Let generative AI models know you don’t want your art used for training or as a reference for style or composition.

Choose Your Files & Apply Content Credentials

  • Use the Content Authentic Apply tool attach your saved metadata to your images.

Download Your Files

  • Adobe won’t store your files for later downloads—so save them now before publishing!

Share Your Work Anywhere

  • Your Content Credentials will stay with your file, no matter where you post it.
